This 2013 literature review summarizes behavioral barriers, benefits and interventions related to campus / institutional energy, water and waste-related behaviors.



Sections of this small-scale review, which was created for the University of British Columbia,  focus specifically on the following behaviors and behavior groups:

  • Divert Organics (in offices and residences)
  • Recycle Plastics (in labs)
  • Reduce Plug Loads / Shut Off Power (all settings)
  • Shut the Sash (in labs)
  • Take Shorter Showers (in residences)
  • Turn Off Lights (in offices and residences)
  • Wash Clothes in Cold Water (in residences)

There is an additional section on building a "Culture of Sustainability."

The report was developed in 2013 by Cullbridge Marketing and Communications for LURA Consulting and UBC.
