The Social Norms Atlas is a collective effort led by the Social Norms Learning Collaborative to foster awareness, understanding, and the ability to address a variety of social norms as they relate to development outcomes.
This document provides a high-level overview of illustrative social norms and related behaviors and attitudes in specific sectors and contexts and is meant to be used as a starting point for users to further consider norms particular to their sector(s) of interest. It also highlights how social norms may cut across development sectors. Case studies and discussion focus on ten sectors:
