Nominations are now open for 2025. Looking for programs in building energy, climate change mitigation and adaptation, and sustainable transportation. Deadline: June 6, 2025.
We posted six newly designated Landmark case studies, four new non-designated case studies, and 93 new Topic Resources in 2024.
This past year's five new Landmark case studies and three finalists have now been posted. Access them through our Landmark page or through the three relevant Topic Resources pages: climate change, energy, and transportation. We've also posted 91 new Topic Resources in 2023.
If you have been working on or have seen a particularly effective or innovative approach for changing energy, transportation, or other climate-change-related behaviours, please consider nominating it for Landmark Designation by June 3, 2024. Click here for details.
Six new case studies have been designated Landmark by our three peer review and selection panels. Their summaries are now posted in our case studies section, and also on the Topic Resources page for Climate Change, Energy, and Transportation. The full case studies are currently under review and will be published in early 2023. Managers from two of these programs are presenting their experiences at a free BECC webinar on Feb. 23.
We've verified and updated all of our site links and Topic Resource listings, and are preparing our PDF of the listings, "Web-Based Social Marketing Resources (2021)".
Tools of Change is soliciting nominations for its 2021 Landmark behavior change case studies in two topic areas - (1) energy conservation and (2) sustainable transportation. If you have been working on a particularly effective or innovative approach for changing energy or transportation behaviours, please consider nominating yourself. All nominations must include measured impact results.
Nominated programs get frank, confidential program review comments and suggestions from selection panel members, who are experts in a range of related disciplines. All nominations that are presented to our selection panels receive a complete list of unattributed panel comments. For many nominees, this is the most valuable benefit.
Designation as a Landmark (best practice) case study through this peer selection process recognizes behavior change programs and approaches considered to be among the most successful, innovative, replicable and adaptable in the world.
Designated programs gain exposure, credibility and free, on-line program case study materials, which may make it easier for them to attract customers and investors, and to maintain or increase program funding. Nominations are screened by Tools of Change staff and then the most promising are rated by peer selection panels based on a standard scoring grid. Designated programs are highlighted in our webinars, transcripts and video recordings from the webinars, and written case studies. They also get a Landmark designation logo for use on websites and in electronic newsletters, providing click-through access to the program's case study materials.
The nomination form, which can be downloaded from www.toolsofchange.com/en/landmark, must be submitted by July 3, 2021. Designations will be announced in the fall.
